Huntington County Community Foundation opens Pyle Grant applications

The Huntington County Community Foundation is now accepting applications for the Stephanie A. Pyle "Spirit of the Community" Fund grant.

The grant will be awarded to not-for-profit charitable purposes that will keep Pyle's passion for community service alive in Huntington County.

Not-for-profit organizations and applicants with a not-for-profit as a fiscal agent may apply for the grant.

Applications must be received at the HCCF office by April 12. Awards will be announced after May 6.

Projects that qualify include those that exemplify and advance community development, embrace youth in the community (individual or groups), leadership, and collaboration between two or more groups.

The fund was created to allow Pyle's generous community spirit to live on for years to come.

Applications may be obtained at the office, located at 356 W. Park Drive in Huntington, or visit the Web site, www.hccfounda tion.com
