Jana Krueger earns inaugural Stonebraker Memorial Scholarship

The Huntington County Community Foundation has announced that Jana Krueger, of Huntington, is the recipient of the inaugural 2017 Jeff Stonebraker Memorial Scholarship.

Krueger, a graduating senior from Huntington North High School, will be attending Indiana University majoring in marketing.  She is the daughter of Karen and Jay Rinehart.

During her high school career, Krueger has participated in Varsity Singers, Campus Life, Spanish Club, Masque and Gavel, Viking Volume and Concert Choir. As a member of the HNHS National Honor Society, she has volunteered in its activities and the Homework Help program at St. Peter’s First Community Church.

The Jeff Stonebraker Memorial Scholarship, established in 2016, honors the son of Anne and Dean Stonebraker. This scholarship is awarded to Huntington County residents attending Jeff’s alma mater, Indiana University, with a preference for those majoring in business.
