Forks Uncorked offers evening of wine, beer, food

Seven wineries, three cider companies and four breweries will be featured at the second Forks of the Wabash Uncorked, to be held on July 14, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Forks of the Wabash Historic Park.

Guests will be entertained by live music from the Adam Strack Band. Attendance is limited to those 21 years and older. Those attending should bring lawn chairs.

The evening will feature wines from Country Heritage Winery, Easley Winery, Harmony Winery, Heagy Vineyards, Running Vines Winery, Two EE’s Winery and Whyte Horse Wineries.

Cider will be provided by Aftermath Cidery and Winery, Ash & Elm Cider Company and Angry Orchard.

Featured breweries are Chapman’s Brewing Company, Dark Horse Brewing, Sun King Brewery and Yuengling.

Guests will have the opportunity to purchase wines and beers featured during the evening.

Craft sodas and food will be available for purchase from Antiqology, The Berg, Big Apple Pizza, Nicks Kitchen and Ragin’ Cajun.

A silent auction will also be a part of the evening. Items up for bid can be viewed on the Forks of the Wabash Uncorked Facebook event page.

Discounted tickets are available in advance from any Huntington branch of First Federal Savings Bank and at Bottle and Keg, in Roanoke, or online at Designated driver tickets are also available. Full price tickets will be available the day of the event.

Limited parking will be available at the Forks of the Wabash Historic Park, which is located at 3011 W. Park Drive, Huntington.

Off-site parking and shuttles will be available at The Awakening Church, Sheets Wildlife Museum, DaVita Dialysis, Healthier Pet, Huntington License Branch and the Forks of the Wabash Trailhead.

Forks of the Wabash Uncorked is sponsored by the Huntington Area Recreational Trails Association (HARTA) and the Historic Forks of the Wabash. Proceeds will be shared by the organizations to benefit their programs.
