The Huntington-based band Roustabout will bring its harmonies to downtown Huntington during the free Music in the City concert on Friday, July 21.

The two-hour outdoor show, sponsored by the Huntington Downtown Business Association, starts at 6:30 p.m. on Jefferson Street between Washington and Market streets. Those attending should bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Roustabout members Bob Thompson, Joey Spiegel, Chris Kauffman and Justin Barker call themselves “a folk band steeped in Americana.”

They incorporate folk, rock and “jazzy Love Boat-inspired grooves” in their original tunes and covers of a diverse set of artists ranging from the Avett Brothers to Death Cab for Cutie, accompanying the-mselves on guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, harmonica, upright and electric bass and percussion.

The fourth and final Music in the City concert for 2017 is on Aug. 11 and features James and the Drifters.
