Habitat for Humanity broke ground Tuesday, March 30, for its 23rd home in Huntington County. This house, to be built at 931 Iowa St., will be home to Becky Arnett and her family. Helping with the ceremonial groundbreaking were (from left) the home's future occupants, Carissa Arnett, Brock Fippen and Becky Arnett; Habitat board President Michelle Crone; Huntington Common Council President Erv Ebersole; Mayor Steve Updike; Monique Miller, of Wells Fargo; Norris Friesen, former Habitat board member; Stan Denbo, of UT Electronic Controls; and Paula Whiting, Habitat president-elect. Wells Fargo and UTEC are assisting Habitat with the build.
