Forks of the Wabash Museum names winners of annual tree decorating

The Forks of the Wabash Museum, in Huntington, has announced the winning trees and wreaths from its annual Christmas at the Forks decorating competition.

This year’s competition saw 15 trees and four wreaths on display at Christmas at the Forks, which was held Saturday, Dec. 2, and Sunday, Dec. 3. Votes by attendees determined the winning entries.

Voters’ ballots also entered them into drawing to win the respective tree or wreath they voted for.

The tree competition was split into two categories: entries from businesses and entries from nonprofit organizations.

Winners were:

Business entries

First place, Town & Country Flowers and Gifts, sponsored by Bailey-Love Mortuary. Winner, Sue Ellet.

Second place, Tam-A-Sak. Winner, Jodi Scott.

Third place, Huntington Nursery & Florists. Winner, Angie Garcia.

Nonprofit entries

First place, Indiana Dream Center. Winner, Sharon Solloway.

Second place, Psi Iota Xi Sorority. Winner, Elizabeth Burnell.

Third place, Huntington County Master Gardeners. Winner, Paula Kimmel.

In the wreath competition, winners were:

First place, Wreaths by Nadine. Winner, Tammy Kelash.

Second place, Community Link Federal Credit Union. Winner, Molly Ross.
