Pathfinder Services welcomes 2 to board

Pathfinder Services welcomed two new board members, Angela Hormann and Ann McPherren, to its board of directors in January. The new board members were elected to serve a three-year term at the Pathfinder Services annual meeting of the Board of Directors in November.

Hormann is the manager of Parkview Huntington Rehab and Wellness. She graduated from Ball State University with an undergraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology and received her Master of Arts in speech-language pathology and audiology from Ball State. She is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration in healthcare management. She has been employed by Parkview since 2003.

Hormann resides in southwest Fort Wayne with her husband, Chad, of 15 years. They are the parents of Andrew, 13, Libby, 10 and twins Grant and Julia, 7. She is a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and serves on the Trine University Advisory Board for Health Sciences. In her spare time, she coaches middle school boys’ basketball.

McPherren is a professor of business and economics at Huntington University. She completed her undergraduate degree at Huntington College and then continued her education at Ball State University completing a Master of Science in Management as well as a Doctorate of Education in Educational Administration. She previously served on the Pathfinder Board of Directors from 1992 to 1997 and was vice chair in 1997.

McPherren has also served on the iAB financial bank Board of Directors, Star 88.3 Media Network Board of Directors, Huntington County YMCA Board of Directors, Huntington County United Way Board of Directors and past campaign chair, Huntington County Leadership Board of Directors and is a member of Seminary United Methodist Church.

Pathfinder Services is a not-for-profit comprehensive human and community development org- anization headquartered in Huntington, which serves individuals and families in Adams, Allen, Dekalb, Elkhart, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Marshall, Miami, Noble, St. Joe, Starke, Steuben, Wabash, Wells and Whitley counties.
