Third day added to stained glass workshop at Salamonie Int. Ctr.

Due to public response, a third day has been added to a stained-glass workshop at Salamonie Interpretive Center. The additional day is Sunday, March 11, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Each participant will have a choice of creating a cardinal or blue jay in stained glass.

Stained glass artist Katy Gray, a 20-year veteran of the medium, will lead the workshop.

March 11 is the beginning of Daylight Saving Time, when clocks “spring forward” an hour, so attendees are advised to plan accordingly.

Advance registration is requested by March 3 by calling 468-2127. There is a cost per person, which includes all supplies. Checks should be made payable to UWIS and mailed before March 11 to Upper Wabash Interpretive Services, 3691 S. New Holland Rd., Andrews, IN 46702.

Salamonie Lake, located online at stateparks.IN. gov/2952.htm, is at 9214W-Lost Bridge West, Andrews.
