Salamonie Preschool to learn about frogs March 21

Preschool-age children and their adults are invited to Salamonie Preschool’s “Frogs” on March 21.

Participants will learn about the life cycle of a frog and what makes frogs special. Weather permitting, there will be a hike to the pond to observe frogs.

The class will be offered from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and again from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Salamonie Interpretive Center in Lost Bridge West State Recreation Area, Andrews.

Each program is designed to enhance the preschooler’s basic education, including learning the alphabet, building a craft, social interaction and time outdoors, always with a nature-related theme.

There is a small fee per child. Advance registration is appreciated. Registration can be done by calling Upper Wabash Interpretive Services at 468-2127.

Upper Wabash Interpretive Services  is at 3691 S. New Holland Rd., Andrews.
