Pathfinder to compete in ‘Brackets for Good’

Pathfinder Services has been selected from more than 2,100 charitable organizations across the country to compete in Brackets For Good 2018.

Starting this past Friday, March 2, Pathfinder Services will rally supporters to advance in an online single-elimination bracket-style fund-raising tour-nament with a grand prize of $10,000.

Pathfinder Community Supports division is competing in Brackets For Good to raise awareness of the programs they provide for people with disabilities.

“Of course, the grand prize is an enticing piece of this tournament, but we’re more excited about the exposure this tournament will create for our organization. We hope people throughout Indiana will learn about the amazing things we do every day to help those we serve gain independence, inclusion and stability,” says Kasey Davis, strategic development director at Pathfinder Services. “We do so much more than people know. Community Supports helps people find meaningful employment, gets teens involved in summer camp, helps people find their creativity with extensive arts programming and ultimately tries to help everyone feel included in their community. This division provides integrated activities to hundreds of people every year, and I hope the Brackets For Good tournament brings those to the surface in all of our service areas.”

Indianapolis-based Brackets For Good pairs with corporate and nonprofit sponsors to host online bracket-style fund- raising tournaments in philanthropic communities around the United States. Brackets for Good has raised more than $6.4 million for charitable nonprofits since its 2012 kick-off contest in Indianapolis.
