HNHS administering ISTEP+ on April 17 and April 19

Huntington North High School will be administering the second part of the ISTEP+ graduation qualifying exams for biology and English on Tuesday, April 17, and math on Thursday, April 19.

All seniors and those juniors who passed the English and/or math test(s) have the opportunity to arrive two hours later on April 17 and April 19, provided they return the parent permission sheet with signed approval from a parent.

On April 17, students required to report to school at the normal time include all freshmen, all sophomores and any juniors who still need to take the English portion of the test.

On April 19, students required to report to school at the normal time include all sophomores and any juniors who need to take the math portion of the test.

Freshmen may arrive two hours later on April 19 only, provided they return the parent permission sheet with signed approval from a parent.

Students qualifying for late arrival received a personalized permission sheet, which should have been returned by April 13 to their homeroom teacher. If the school does not receive this permission slip (signed by a parent) the student will be expected to report to the HNHS gymnasium at 7:45 a.m. on testing days.Buses will run on a normal schedule both days. Late arriving students are responsible for their own transportation. Non-testing students arriving in the morning will report to the gym for a study hall.
