Seniors to hear about butterflies at lunch

The monthly Salamonie Senior Luncheon will be on Monday, Aug. 6, at the Salamonie Lake Interpretive Center.

Monarch butterfly expert Jody Heaston will speak about the life cycle and importance of the species.

The program begins with a carry-in meal at noon. The main dish, hoagies, will be provided. A small monetary donation will be accepted.

Guests should bring a side dish to share, a beverage and their own table service.

Senior Luncheons are open to those ages 50 and older. Reservations may be made by calling 468-2127.

Upper Wabash Interpretive Services  is located at 3691 New Holland Rd., Andrews.
