Frischman earns state honor for work, service

Huntington County resident Dr. Ronald Frischman recently received a certificate of congratulations from the state of Indiana to celebrate his 60 years as a chiropractor at the Wabash Chiropractic Center and honor his outstanding community service.

Frischman, 85, received the certificate from State Sen. Andy Zay on July 15.
Frischman had been a director and president of the Indiana State Chiropractic Association and among his accolades has received the chiropractor of the year award.

He has been presented with a flag of the City of Wabash, was a city council member for nine years in Wabash and has been a United Fund president and director. He has also held numerous other positions in Wabash.

Among his Huntington County endeavors, he is a volunteer with Love INC and United Way. He also serves as a board member for the Huntington County Council on Aging.

Frischman and his late wife Barbara are the parents of five children.

He and his current wife, Judy, were recently honored by the Huntington County United Way with the Ray Vanderspool Award for their volunteer service.
