Roanoke library names reading program winners

The Roanoke Public Library has announced the results of its summer reading program, titled “Blast off with Reading.”
Fifty-three children participated and were given a free ice cream cone certificate from Moose & Mollie’s. 

Thirty-three won TinCaps free ticket vouchers and Applebee’s free kids meal coupons, and 176 Bingo sheets were completed in the six-week program. 

There were eight Big Bingo winners: Benton Hetrick, Sam Hetrick, Hannah Henline, Khalysee Farrington, Leo PeGan, Elijah Landon, Graison Sexton and Tayteum McCoart. They each received a free book of their choice, courtesy of the Roanoke Lions Club. 

Twenty-two readers achieved perfect attendance and were given a special prize made possible by the Roanoke Lions Club.  They are Aspen Robinson, Piper Robinson, Benton Hetrick, Sam Hetrick, Brooklyn Mower, Caysen Sort, Cooper Holzinger, Ethan Disbro, Frances Thilmont, Hannah Henline, Kash McCoart, Kipten Holzinger, Leo PeGan, Owen Cartwright, Bobby Ackley, Celeste Ackley, Chloe Ackley, Roland Ackley, Christiana Landon, Elijah Landon, William Landon and Nolan Zehr. 

Three adults completed the Adult Summer Reading Bingo Program. They are Carolyn Smith, Janet Harris and Noah Landon. They each received a $5 gift certificate from Moose & Mollie’s.
