Zanesville to collect income info to apply for OCRA storm water money

The Town of Zanesville intends to apply for grants from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) for the purpose of studying and completing storm water improvements.

As a requirement of the application process, the community must provide combined family income information for the households within the proposed service area, or those who will directly benefit from the use of grant funds.

The survey is scheduled to begin in September 2018.

The Town of Zanesville has sought the services of University Research Consultants to conduct the survey and collect data. Representatives from University Research Consultants may be contacting residents at some point over the next several weeks either by phone or door-to-door. These phone calls may be from an outside area code. Any individuals contacting you will identify themselves as working on behalf of University Research Consultants or the town itself.

The survey should take only a few moments of residents’ time. All information provided will be kept strictly confidential and only a collective summary of the information will be provided to the Town of Zanesville and included in the application. Official representatives of University Research Consultants will never ask for any personally identifiable information such as a Social Security number or bank account information.

Direct any questions to the town’s clerk-treasurer, Julie Christian, at 638-0051 or to townofzanesville@frontier.com.
