Salamonie Preschool program is on turtles

Preschool-age children and their adults are invited to Salamonie Preschool’s “Turtles: What Do They Do in the Winter?” program on Dec. 12.

Participants will meet a live turtle and make a craft.

The class will run from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and again from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Salamonie Interpretive Center in Lost Bridge West State Recreation Area in Andrews.

Each program is designed to enhance the preschooler’s basic education, including learning letters, crafts, social inter-
action and time outdoors, always with a nature-related theme.

There is a small program fee per child. Advance registration is appreciated. Register by calling Upper Wabash Interpretive Services at 468-2127.
