First Federal Bank announces four promotions

First Federal Savings Bank recently announced the promotions of four employees.

Ian Hope was promoted to a vice president, and Donnie Haire, Amanda Stroup and Joe Cassidy were all promoted to assistant vice president slots.

Hope was promoted to vice president, commercial portfolio/SBA manager.

He joined the First Federal staff in 2004 and has a degree in accounting from the IU Kelley School of Business and has more than 25 years of banking and finance experience.

He is a board member of the Noontime Kiwanis in Huntington, and his neighborhood homeowner’s association. He also volunteers with the middle school and high school groups at The Chapel, where he and his family attend church.

He resides in Fort Wayne with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children.  

Haire was promoted to assistant vice president, retail/mortgage lending at the downtown location on Jefferson Street.

He has been with First Federal since August 2012 and has 20 years of banking experience. He has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University.

Haire serves on the Whitley County 4-H board and is a den leader for Cub Scout Pack 3082. He and his family are members of St. Paul of the Cross Parish where Haire serves as financial secretary for the Knights of Columbus Council 7235.

He resides in Columbia City with his wife, Julie, and their two sons.

Stroup was promoted to assistant vice president, marketing director/mortgage lending at the north location on Frontage Road.

Stroup joined the staff in 2013 and has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. She is treasurer for the Huntington County Leadership Board and has volunteered for Junior Achievement and the United Way. She and her family attend Mt. Etna United Methodist Church.

She and her husband, Adam, reside in Huntington with their two sons.

Cassidy was promoted to assistant vice president, wealth advisor for the First Federal Wealth Management Division at the north office location on Frontage Road.

He joined First Federal Savings Bank in May 2017 and has a degree in business administration from Indiana University.

He serves on the board for Giving Teens Grace. He and his family attend Emmanuel Community Church.

He resides in Roanoke with his wife, Jami, and their two children.
