Huntington County property tax statements in mail on April 11

Huntington County Treasurer Paula Farley recently announced that Huntington County property tax statements were mailed on April 11.

Property owners who do not receive a statement by the end of April should call the treasurer’s office at 358-4860. Failure to receive a statement does not relieve the taxpayer of the responsibility to pay the bill.

The amount of taxes due for each property can also be accessed online at by choosing GIS mapping and searching by name, address or parcel number.

The 2019 property tax bill may be paid in two installments, with the first installment accepted through May 10.

A variety of payment methods are available.

Payments may be made in person with cash, money orders and checks only at the treasurer’s office on the first floor of the Huntington County Courthouse.

The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will have special hours on Saturday, May 4, from 8 a.m. to noon.

Payments may be made by credit or debit card or E-Check online at https://bill or by calling 877-690-3729 use Jurisdiction Code 2421. A fee is charged for the use of a debit or credit card and E-checks.

Payments may be made at several area banks if a current tax statement is presented. No partial payments can be made at the banks.

Participating banks are Bippus State Bank, First Farmers Bank & Trust, First Federal Savings Bank, First Source Bank, First Merchants Bank and Lake City Bank.

Payments may be mailed to the county treasurer. Payments must be postmarked no later than May 10 to be considered on time. Taxpayers should write their phone number on the check. A self-addressed stamped envelope must be included if a receipt is requested. Payments should be mailed to Huntington County Treasurer, 201 N. Jefferson St., Room 104, Huntington, IN 46750.
