Huntington City-Township Public Library to kick off new book club

The Huntington City-Township Public Library will kick off a new book club for adults Wednesday, May 22.

The History Book Club will focus on the type of books its name implies – non-fiction books with a focus on history. The club will first meet Wednesday, May 22 at 6 p.m. and will meet every fourth Wednesday each month, with each meeting focusing on a new read.

The book to be discussed at the first session is “The Radium Girls” by Kate Moore. Each meeting will include light snacks and drinks around a discussion of that month’s book and related topics.

This club is open to adults and signing up is optional. However, if readers want the library to provide a copy of the next month’s read, they will need to sign up by contacting the Reference Desk at the Huntington library at 356-0824 or emailing ref@hctpl.info.

The Huntington branch is located at 255 W. Park Drive, Huntington.
