J&S Septic is open for business in Huntington.

Jeremy Dyke started the business four months ago, after spending a few years monitoring the demand for septic services in the area, which he says has overwhelmed area providers.

“The county needed it,” says Dyke of his business. “So, we were like, ‘You know what? Let’s get our piece of the pie.’”

Aside from Huntington County, the business will also serve surrounding counties.

J&S Septic is open Monday through Saturday, until approximately 4 p.m.

Dyke says the business also offers 24-hour emergency services.

“If somebody calls us and they’re backed up and it’s flowing into their house or basement or something, we will come out and pump,” he notes.

J&S Septic can be reached at 388-9217. An alternative contact number is 224-5605.
