Gov. candidate to speak to local Democrats

Dr. Woody Myers, Democratic candidate for Indiana governor, will be the guest speaker at the Huntington County Democratic Party meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 6:30 p.m., at the Huntington City-Township Public Library.

Myers is the first candidate for the 2020 election to visit Huntington County, and will outline his plans for Indiana and the governorship.

Myers is a third-generation Hoosier and a graduate of Shortridge High School in Indianapolis. He received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Harvard Medical School, a master’s degree in business administration from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science with honors from Stanford University.

The public is invited. The Huntington Branch of the library is located at 255 W. Park Drive, Huntington.
