Learn how to make unique gifts at Salamonie IC Dec. 14

Anyone interested in making a unique holiday gift will have an opportunity to construct a fairy house at a workshop in the Salamonie Interpretive Center, in rural Andrews, on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 10 a.m.

During the two-hour workshop, participants will construct a miniature forest display.

There is a cost, payable the day of the event. Materials will be provided, with extra materials available for purchase. Advance registration is required by calling 468-2127. Space is limited. The suggested age for participants is 10 years old and above, with those under 18 accompanied by an adult.

The Nature Art Designs activities are made possible with support by the Indiana Arts Commission and the Friends of the Upper Wabash Interpretive Services.

The Salamonie Interpretive Center is located at 3691 New Holland Rd., Andrews.
