Huntington County property tax statements in mail on Monday

Huntington County Treasurer Paula Farley has announced that Huntington County property tax statements were mailed on April 13.

Property owners who do not receive a statement by the end of April should call the treasurer’s office at 358-4860. Failure to receive a statement does not relieve the taxpayer of the responsibility to pay the bill.

The taxes due for each property can also be accessed online at by choosing GIS mapping and searching by name, address or parcel number.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the treasurer’s office is asking citizens to pay their bills via the following methods.

Payments may be made by credit card, debit card or e-check online at or by calling 1-877-690-3729 and using jurisdiction code 2421. A fee is charged for the use of a debit card, credit card or e-check.

Several financial institutions offer online banking to pay bills. The parcel number must be included on the payment.

Payments may be made at several area banks, upon presentation of a current tax statement. Banks will not accept partial payments.

Participating banks include Bippus State Bank, First Farmers Bank & Trust, First Federal Savings Bank, 1st Source Bank, First Merchants Bank and Lake City Bank. If utilizing a bank, a citizen should have their tax bills totaled and a check prepared prior to paying.

Payments may also be mailed to the treasurer’s office. Taxpayers should write their phone number on the check. A self-addressed stamped envelope must be included if a receipt is requested. Mail payments to Huntington County Treasurer, 201 N. Jefferson St., Room 104, Huntington, IN 46750.
