YMCA offering gym and swim class for virtual and home-schooled kids

The Parkview Huntington Family YMCA will provide an opportunity for local, home-schooled and virtually-enrolled children ages 5 to 14 a weekly class of gym and swim programming.

In this class students will have an opportunity to participate in social teamwork, character building and physical activities while participating in fitness, exercise, group sports and swimming.

Throughout the program children will be provided with a variety of swim and gym classes taught by YMCA instructors. Families sign up for the entire first semester (September through December) with billing occurring monthly and the option to cancel at any time.

Classes will start on Thursday, Sept. 3, and will meet on Thursdays of each consecutive week.

There are discounts available for families with three or more children enrolled. All activities will take place at the Parkview Huntington Family YMCA facility, located at 1160W-500N, Huntington.
