Free online fraud and cybercrime seminar Sept. 24

Join Lake City Bank’s Treasury Management team for an online seminar about fraud and cybercrime on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 9 a.m.

The team will share common fraud scenarios that they and their clients have encountered and how to fight against them.

The bank will be joined by guest speakers addressing the following topics:

• George Goodlink, vice president and information security officer at Lake City Bank, will discuss how Lake City Bank protects client information and share some general cybersecurity and fraud protection tips.

• Chris Kotul, division manager at Chester Inc. Information Technologies, will cover a high-level overview of the risk of attacks, common attack methods, back-up disaster recovery procedures and social engineering.

• Several Lake City Bank clients will share their experiences with fraud, how they responded and the steps they took to prevent future incidents.

The program is free, but registration is required and spots are limited.
