Love INC and LAC receive grants

The LaFontaine Arts Council (LAC) recently received a $2,500 grant from the Huntington County Community Foundation (HCCF). The Huntington County Community Foundation (HCCF) recently presented checks to several Huntington establishments, including Love INC and the LaFontaine Arts Council (LAC).

For Love INC, a grand total of $1,869.48 in HCCF funding will be used towards Love INC’s fundraising efforts to purchase a Zoll AED2 defibrillator and to provide training for up to 20 of Love INC’s staff to become certified users, and well as training in CPR and first aid.

Funds sponsoring the grant included the Dean and Anne Stonebraker Community Fund, the Don and Linda Martin Community Fund, the Fred Bailey Community Fund, the Steve and Vicky Eisenhut Community Fund and the Philip and Jackie Karst Family Community Fund.

Also, the Bippus State Bank Community Fund, the Herb and Corinne Scheiber Memorial Community Fund, the John and Midge Decker Community Fund and the Steve and Pamela Anderson Family Community Fund.
LAC, which received $2,500 in funding, will use the monies to help fund programming for the Arts in Education series for students K-12 in Huntington County.

Providing sponsorship for this grant are the Stephen and Ruth Michael Community Fund, the Helen and Frederick Krueger and Margaret Krueger Community Fund, the Don and Linda Martin Community Fund and the Culp CPA Group Community Fund.
