Homemakers to host annual sale on Dec. 3

The Huntington County Extension Homemakers are sponsoring their 18th annual Holiday Cookie, Candy and Craft sale on Friday, Dec. 3, at the First Merchants Bank Heritage Hall in the Huntington County Fairgrounds located at 631 Taylor St., Huntington. The sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. In addition to the candy and cookies, some of the Extension Homemaker clubs will be offering crafted items.

Pre-made cookies trays are available again for sale. Interested parties must pre-order to purchase a “Tray of Cookies.” Each tray will include an assortment of three dozen cookies. The trays must be pre-ordered by Tuesday, Nov. 30.

The trays will be available for pick up only during sale hours. The sale will work the same as in years past. Shoppers will be given a container and allowed to choose the cookies and candies they wish to purchase.

Craft items for sale at club tables will be separate sales and proceeds will go toward the club treasuries. Proceeds from the cookie/candy sale will be used toward Huntington County Homemaker work in the community.
