The Andrews-Dallas Township Public Library is hosting a local author book talk on Saturday, Jan. 15, at 11 a.m. The session will feature Andrews authors Sharon Laupp, Janice Harshbarger and Samuel Whiteleather.
Laupp’s book “The Last Eight” chronicles her and her husband’s most recent journey in their 1930 Model A Ford, a journey which completed the couple’s visits to each of the 48 lower United States.
Harshbarger’s books “Only in Andrews” and “Even in Andrews” detail the history of the town of Andrews from its beginnings through 1966.
Whiteleather’s collection of short stories and essays titled “Cicada Days” connects the natural world to moments in life’s journey.
Each author will discuss ideas, writing process and publishing decisions. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
