EPCO Accounting & Tax Services, along with the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce, hosted a ribbon cutting on Thursday, Jan. 6, to celebrate EPCO’s new offices at 2812 Theater Ave., Huntington.

The Huntington EPCO location used to be on Wal-Mart Drive, but they needed more room than what they had at that office. They bought the Theater Ave. location in June and started renovations. They were able to move the office in September and most of the renovations are now complete.

EPCO Owner Tim Armstrong said that he has been doing taxes for 36 years. According to a previous TAB article published on March 4, 2021, Armstrong has worked for EPCO for 20 years. He opened the Huntington branch five years ago and also owns the Fort Wayne location.

Last year, Armstrong did 1,300 tax returns between individual, small business and corporate clients.

“You have to remember, though, that I have a strong staff that I rely on a lot,” Armstrong said.

Armstrong also said that they are still taking new clients and, with their new office location, they have room to grow if they need to add staff.

According to EPCO’s website, they provide many different services including bookkeeping, data entry, accounting, payroll preparation, business set-up and notary, along with personal and business income tax preparation.
