School board approves requests

The Huntington County Community School Corporation Board of Trustees approved several requests during its regular meeting on Monday, March 23.
They include:

Personnel

Certified Retirements
• Janet Dubbeld, science teacher at Huntington North High School.
• Donna Gass, social studies teacher at Crestview.
• Candice Kaylor, art teacher at Andrews and Northwest.
• James Mong, librarian at Riverview.
• Darlene Shideler, second grade teacher at Lancaster.
• Diane Troxell, social studies teacher at Crestview.
• Kathy Vickrey, fifth grade teacher at Lancaster.• Mark Vickrey, science teacher at Salamonie.
• Linda Wilder, visual impairment for Huntington-Whitley Special Services (HWSS).
• Steve Whittenberger, third grade teacher at Roanoke.

• Steve Randall, custodian at Crestview Middle School.

• HNHS physics classes will visit Kings Island's Math and Science Days 2009 on May 8 in Cincinnati, OH.
• The Crestview Middle School eighth grade Blue Thunder Team will visit Cedar Point for Math and Science Day on May 27 in Sandusky, OH.

Donations
• Crestview, donation from Shuttleworth Inc., Steve Mason, Nancy Kennedy, Brittanie Scheiber, Kay Weddle, Insurance Management Group, Frederick's Photography and MSM Transport in the amount of $475 to be used for the Mighty Eagle Team field trip to Chicago.
