Huntington native to compete in Miss Indiana contest

Huntington native Bailey Godfrey will compete for the chance to win more than $45,000 in scholarships at the 2022 Miss Indiana Scholarship Competition this month.

The Miss Indiana pageant is a preliminary competition to the annual Miss America pageant.
Earlier this year, Godfrey was crowned Miss Hoosier Heritage.
Godfrey will compete against 35 other young women at the Miss Indiana pageant in Zionsville. For the talent part of the pageant, she will perform a flute solo.

She is the daughter of Brett and Cynthia Godfrey. She is a 2020 Graduate of Huntington North High School. She attends Wake Forest University in North Carolina where she is majoring in biochemistry /molecular biology and is a member of the cheer team.
The new Miss Indiana will be crowned June 18.
