Huntington North High School (HNHS) students will begin serving Grab and Go lunches every Thursday and Friday starting June 16 through the end of July.
Students attended food safety and program training at the Huntington Arts & Entrepreneurial Center (HAEC) in preparation.
Lunches will be served at the HAEC’s Arts Included Gallery with a menu of cold food items such as croissants, wraps, salads, and desserts from 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
“Through the HAEC venue, students will find value in service. Learning these skills help them to succeed in the workplace after high school,” said Heather Johnson, Pre-Employment Transition Specialist.
The Pre-Employment Transition Services (PRE-ETS) program empowers students to explore food service experiences.
