The Huntington County Soil and Water Conservation District will hold its Annual Meeting and Banquet on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at First Merchants Heritage Hall, located at the Huntington County 4-H Fairgrounds, 631 E. Taylor St., Huntington.
The banquet will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The agenda for the evening will include the election of SWCD board supervisor, presentation of conservation awards, updates on conservation programs and review of events for the past year.
The guest speaker for the evening will be Mark Booth with Take Flight, Wildlife Education. Booth will share with us information about wildlife and ecology and will have live animals as part of his presentation.
A catered meal will be served and tickets for the event are $7 each with children under 5 free. Please submit your reservations no later than Feb. 24 by contacting the SWCD office at 260-356-6816 ext. 3. Reservations are needed for the event.
A short business meeting will be held at 5:45 p.m. prior to the Annual Meeting and Banquet at the same location. The meeting is open to the public
