Funding offered to providers

Organizations that offer emergency food and shelter programs within Huntington County are invited to submit an application for review by the local board of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Huntington County United Way director Pat Horoho facilitates the local FEMA board, which is composed of members of several religious and charitable organizations.

Huntington County is eligible to receive $17,000 from FEMA to use for emergency food and shelter programs.
