The Samuel Huntington Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution gathered Wednesday, March 18 in the Indiana Room of the Huntington City-Township Public Library to donate a collection of scrapbooks.

Shirley Peiffer Brown, registrar and vice-regent of the Huntington DAR, has assembled the scrapbooks over a period of seven years, working on documenting the chapter's 112-year history.

Brown says, "We're putting the books here to preserve in the Indiana Room. We want people to know that the Samuel Huntington Chapter is alive and well."
