Computer classes for adults will again be offered at the St. Peter Lutheran School, located at 605 Polk St. in Huntington.
The fall session will begin Sept. 20 and will end Nov. 19. Classes are planned Monday mornings at 10 a.m., Tuesday evenings at 5 p.m. or 6 p.m., and Thursdays at 10 a.m. and at 1 p.m. The classes last about 90 minutes.
Step-by-step printed instructions are handed out in each class, and hands-on practice time is provided. The networked computers have Internet access and have several kinds of useful software.
Topics for the classes include e-mail, the Internet, word processing, creating databases and spreadsheets. Copying and pasting, saving files, printing, scanning documents and pictures will also be covered.
Also, Instructions on downloading digital cameras and creating slide-shows using digital or scanned pictures will be given. Lessons relating to using and maintaining a computer will also be covered.
