The Huntington Walgreens store will hold a benefit event for Huntington resident Anthony McCoy on Friday, Sept. 24, starting at 11 a.m. in the store parking lot.

McCoy was injured in a car accident on Aug. 29 of this year, which left him paralyzed from the waist down.
His grandmother, Bea Lawson, is an employee at Walgreens.

Walgreens will be selling hamburgers and hot dogs and the pharmacy will sell fresh caramel corn.

All proceeds will go towards McCoy's medical expenses.
