Teens on the Town will visit pumpkin patch in Oct. 9 outing

Teens on the Town, a program from Pathfinder Community Supports, will continue activities for teenagers in October.

On Oct. 9, Teens on the Town will be going to Campbell's Pumpkin Patch in Wabash. Teens will be leaving the Pathfinder Community Supports office, located at 1152 East State St. in Huntington, at 9 a.m. and returning at 1 p.m.

The program focuses on youth ages 13 to 22 who are currently attending special needs programs at the middle and high school level.

There is a cost for a hayride and corn maze. Additional money would be necessary to purchase items from the craft barn and snack bar.

Transportation to and from Campbell's Pumpkin Patch is free, but parents are responsible for getting their teen to Pathfinder Services by 9 a.m. and picking them up at 1 p.m.

All participants should bring a cold lunch.

Reservations are necessary and space is limited. Reservations must be made by Monday, Oct. 4, by contacting Jamie Lewark at Pathfinder Services at 356-0500, extension 3113 or jlewark@pathfinderser vices.org.
