VNC program will give participants a glimpse of everyday life as a minority

Victory Noll Center will host a special program on Jan. 18, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

"A Day in the Life: Simulation of Life as an American Minority" is an exercise which provides hands-on experience for people from all backgrounds.

It is a glimpse into situations that are based on real-life experiences in which minorities often find themselves, illustrating the differing realities of those in power and those who are powerless.

Victory Noll Center is partnering with the Fort Wayne YWCA for this program as they strive to eliminate racism and empower women.

There is no cost for the program, but registration is required by Tuesday, Jan. 11. Donations will be accepted.

To register for the program or for more information about Victory Noll Center, call 356-0628, extension 174, or contact the Center by e-mail at victorynollcenter@olvm.org. More information is also available on the Center's website at www.olvm.org/ vncenter.html.
