On Friday, Oct. 29, Gracie Lautzenhiser from Markle Scout Troop 128, along with six friends, performed the play she had written to fulfill the requirement for the ScoutsBSA Theater merit badge at Sheets Wildlife Museum.

The play was called A Night at the Museum Take 2, and was based on the movie with her creative flare incorporated.  The group rehearsed the play for five weeks.  About 15 people were in the audience.

The Theater merit badge is just one of about 140 merit badge options available to scouts in the program. The performance, as well as the dress-rehearsal, took place at Sheets Wildlife Museum in Huntington.

The museum offers tours and educational films and also has a gift shop. Those who are interested in booking a group tour at the museum may do so by calling 356-9453.
