The Nail Station, which is a long-standing local business, now boasts a staff full of family faces. The salon, located at 317 Hauenstein Road, Huntington, now has three generations of women working together to give women and men a variety of manicure and pedicure options.
The business, which started with Greta Lesh, was a two-generation business for quite some time, as her daughter, Carrie Stecher, also worked there. Starting in October, though, Lesh’s granddaughter, Alexia Stecher, joined the crew as an official staff member. Alexia says that she has been in and around her grandmother’s nail salon since she was “three years old.”
Alexia offers both manicures and pedicures for her clients, just as her mother and grandmother do.
“We love what we do,” Lesh says. “And I really think that Lexi is getting into it now, too.”
Sessions are by appointment only at The Nail Station, which allows the team to properly schedule their clients for the packages that they choose. Packages can vary from half an hour to two hours in length, depending on what clients request to have done.
“We don’t rush. We take our time,” Lesh says. “If somebody has a problem, we take care of those problems. Sometimes it puts us behind, but I think that most of our clients understand.”
The salon offers a variety of ways to book an appointment. Clients may call or text 358-6702, e-mail email@example.com or visit ultimatenailspa.com for an appointment.
Their website also provides details for different manicure, pedicure and massage packages.
