Taylor Jordan crowned 2023 Miss Warren

Taylor Jordan was crowned Miss Warren during a pageant on April 23 at the Warren Church of Christ. Also crowned that day were Harper Brewer, Jr. Miss Warren, and Amelia Wilburn as Little Miss Warren. Taylor, 17, is the daughter of Tom and Kim Jordan. She is a senior at Huntington North High School and also received the Miss Congeniality honor. Taylor was sponsored by Creations by Jan. She is active in the community volunteering with her church, the Warren Boys & Girls Club, Heritage Pointe of Warren, and more. Upon graduation, Taylor will attend Huntington University to major in Social Services and will be on the cheerleading squad. First Runner Up was Abagayle Wright, and Second Runner Up was Nora McDaniel. Miss Photogenic honors went to Shaylyn Suchcicki, and Malaina Culbertson won the People’s Choice award. Cont. on Pg. 7. Harper, 9, is the daughter of Kory and Courtney Brewer. She is in the third grade at Southern Wells Elementary. Harper was sponsored by Son-Rise Bakery. She is active in 4-H, baton twirling, softball, and loves jumping rope. She enjoys volunteering with her church, and helping with Warren’s Final Friday concerts and festival events. Ella McDaniel was the first runner up and also received Miss Photogenic honors. Second runner up was Paizley Nightenhelser. The People’s Choice award went to Adaira Stockman. Amelia, 6, is the daughter of Ethan and Hayley Wilburn. She is a first grade student at Southern Wells Elementary. Amelia was sponsored by Three Amigas Childcare. She is involved in mini cheerleading, playing coaches’ pitch, and jump rope club. Amelia helps at a local soup kitchen and with Warren’s Final Friday Concerts. Keeli Elliot was the first runner up, and Brooklyn Koeberlein was the second runner up and also received the People’s Choice award. Pageant directors Sarah and Kelly Jones said they are “very proud of all 17 participants in the 2023 pageant. They are all talented, beautiful and so passionate about our community.” They also thanked the pageant sponsors, noting the pageant wouldn’t be possible without their support.
