An Elvis impersonator, the music of Patsy Cline and jazz renditions by local students are just a few of the acts on tap for the ninth annual Huntington County Senior Expo.

 Photo provided. Area artists of all ages are invited to begin preparing their works of art for this summer's JeFFFest.
JeFFFest, a celebration of food, music and art, will be held on June 23 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in downtown Huntington.
The art pieces must be created on a 5-inch by 7-inch canvas purchased at Four Corners Custom Framing, 419 N. Jefferson St., Huntington. The canvases will be available beginning May 14. Artists may purchase more than one canvas, and any media can be used on the canvas.

 Photo provided. On Palm Sunday, March 24, parishioners from Christ the King Episcopal Church met at the 509 Community Church at 509 E. State St. for singing, Scripture reading and blessing of the palms. Sixty parishioners from both churches took part in a procession up to Christ the King worship, that included celebration of the Eucharist and a dramatic reading of the passion story from the Gospel according to St. Luke. This is the first time for either church to have a combined service and procession on Palm Sunday.

Churches across Huntington County will hold special services this week in observance of the Easter season.
Many of those services are listed here, and all churches welcome members of the community.
The Warren Area Ministers Association (WAMA) will hold a Warren Community Good Friday service at the Warren United Church of Christ at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 29. A love offering will be taken for the WAMA Community Fund. The church is located at 202 E. 2nd St., Warren. ------
