The Huntington County Council on Aging will host a Chili Cook-Off fund-raiser on Saturday, Oct. 13.

The cook-off will be held from noon to 3 p.m. at 1450 W. Park Dr. in Huntington, the future location of the council's Senior Center.

For a donation, attendees may taste an unlimited amount of chili and vote for their favorite dish.

Hot dogs, chips and brownies will be available for purchase.

Participants in the cook-off should set up on Saturday from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

The sponsor will provide a table, table covering, two chairs, electricity, chili tasting cups, napkins, water and lemonade.

Participants should provide their chili, slow-cooker, dipping ladle and table decorations if desired.
Entries must be homemade.

Participants must prepare and bring at least three gallons of chili.

Deadline for registration is Oct. 8, with all proceeds going to the Huntington County Council on Aging building fund.
