The Huntington County 4-H Junior Leaders will meet Thursday, Oct. 11, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Family Living Building, Hier's Park.

The main item of business will be the election of officers for the 2013 4-H club year. Officer positions include president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, news reporter, health and safety officer, historian/photographer and recreation leader.

Any 4-H member in grade seven or above who is interested in serving in an elected officer position must complete a Junior Leader officer application form prior to the Oct. 11 meeting.

Application forms are available from the Purdue Extension - Huntington County office.

Members will also sign up to serve on Junior Leader committees for the 2013 4-H club year.

The county 4-H Junior Leader organization is open to any 4-H member in the seventh to 12th grades during the current school year.
