Anderson graduates from AF basic training

Air National Guard Airman Matthew J. Anderson has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX.
The airman completed an intensive eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Anderson is a 2006 graduate of Columbia City High School. He earned an associate degree in 2011 from Ivy Tech Community College, in Fort Wayne.
Anderson is the son of Sharon and Dewayne Anderson, of Huntington.
