Huntington University students will serve children in Cincinnati

Twelve Huntington University students will travel to Cincinnati, OH, to work at the Wesley Chapel Mission Center Oct. 12-16.

The fall break trip is sponsored by the Joe Mertz Center for Volunteer Service, a campus organization dedicated to service and volunteering. While in Cincinnati, the HU group will work with children who are homeless or from unstable homes.

Participating students are Karen Bollenbacher and Liz Smith, both of Berne; Esther Kaufman, of Grabill; Timeca Brown, of the Bahamas; Danielle Lowden, of Spencerville.

Also participating are Natasha Zeng, of China; Matt Rankin, of Franklin, PA; Rebecca McIlwain, of Albany; Charles Booth, of Auburn; Henry Maynard, of Acton, MA; Kelsie Shoemaker, of Sheridan; and Rachel Mullens, of North Judson.
