A hog roast and auction benefit for local cancer patient Eric "Butch" Nelson will be held Saturday, Oct. 13, starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Hier's Park Community Building in Huntington.

Activities will start at 8:30 with an Amish bake sale. Dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the auction starts at 1 p.m.

There will also be a hog raffle and live music and a raffle for a 14-foot V-bottom Lowe boat and Shorelander trailer.

The raffle drawing will be held at 5 p.m.
