Sheryl Kneuss, a laundry aide at Markle Health & Rehabilitation, has been honored by the center's parent company, American Senior Communities.

Kneuss received the "Quest for Excellence Award" in recognition of her commitment to excellence, dedication to her job, a positive attitude, and a "whatever it takes" passion for customer service.

Based upon these key performance areas, she was among 62 qualified employees statewide selected by their peers to represent their buildings at a recent dinner.

They were honored at The Fountains in Carmel, which included a speech by four-time Olympian, Ruben Gonzalez.
