The Roanoke Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization recently presented a donation in support of the move and expansion of the Roanoke Public Library. The presentation was made by PTO representatives (from left) Kelly Mulvey, Gayle Melcher and Debbie Fairchild to John Stoeckley, president of the Roanoke Public Library Building Corporation, and Celia Bandelier (right), library director. The Roanoke Public Library is available for use by all Roanoke Elementary students, regardless of their addresses. The library's new quarters, located in the former coil factory building in downtown Roanoke, is expected to be completed in December.
